Meet the newest addition to the Kellogg’s character family! Zimmy was brought to fruition while at Aire Design. She’s playful and appeals to the demographic. At Aire we conceptualised and directed various parts of the on-pack artwork and brand feel, including illustration and photography direction.
Arris is a publication designed to document the diversity of colour, personality and architecture within the city of Leeds. It has been created for the communities, businesses and organisations in the surrounding area; to inform and educate through pre-existing building design and how it can be used as a source of inspiration. We have taken influence from Pantone® to identify and distinguish colour and understand how it is relative to everyday life. We are a collaborative group based at Leeds College of Art and Design spread across various disciplines: BA Graphic Design & BA Photography. The group share a passion for a minimalist approach to visual aesthetics and wanted to explore this through both editorial design and photography.

This was my first real venture into delivering B2B packaging solutions. Jacobs Douwe Egberts wanted three large pillow bags creating under a new brand overhaul that had been created for the consumer facing market. I had to learn about continuous printing methods and adapted certain SKU’s to reflect the unique printing.
Sun Chemical were celebrating 25 years of colour and ink innovation at their laboratory in Karlstein, Germany in 2018. I designed a poster that would embody this spirit of celebration of ink.
Kellogg’s were looking to branch out into different aisles of the supermarket, and one innovation they’d recognised an opportunity in was Peanut Butter. They came to us to bridge the gap with a familiar and well loved cereal brand and a new product.
W. K. Kellogg is the tier of premium brand granola and other more health conscious cereals that Kellogg’s provide. They recognised a need to unify the range and redesign what was a poor consumer navigation system on pack. I lead the journey of structuring a new design that would be rolled out across 30 different SKU’s in lots of different European markets. It was all encompassing of a schematic overhaul and required new guidelines to supplement the design decisions we made.
Ballot Box™ is a concept I proposed for my dissertation titled: "Graphic Design and Voting Mechanisms". I deduced from my extensive research that the British public would indeed benefit from an online system of voting.
As part of an album artwork design competition I have entered in the past, I was approached to create a custom tee design utilising illustration I had created.
I spearheaded a project that involved sprucing up the interior studio space at Aire Design. I had a 9m wide wooden board to play with, and developed a theme of ‘gig venue wall of brands’.
It had to simultaneously communicate the companies internal values (which I designed as handwritten pieces of typography) and their understanding of the wealth of heritage associated with their clients and other retail brands.
Kellogg’s discovered a need to expand their offering within the Coco Pops range and deliver a white chocolate variant, which required a schematic approach as well as an isolated view of what this flavour should embody on shelf.
I have a client who operates various businesses in Bradford City Centre in the hospitality sector. After building a professional relationship over different creative projects he approached me with a venture for a new bar opening. I spent time understanding the context of the bar and how I could design a brand that would communicate effectively and with purpose.
Pringles had expanded their range of flavours with a limited variety labeled: Rice Fusions, inspired by Eastern tastes. I worked on conceptualising Point of Sale theatre that would go into stores an elevate the product offering by expanding creatively on the cultural themes explored, producing something which would appeal to the target consumer.
Completed while on internship @ Thompson Brand Partners in July 2016
My task was simply to design various double page spreads that showcased a selection of Fontsmith's typefaces as specimens, while conceptually linking them to the roots of their creation through the creative styling. For example, the spreads I've designed for FS Hackney all link to cockney rhyming slang and London cabbie culture, as the name is a reference to the black cab.

Aldi identified a need to redesign their Village Bakery range, which involved conceptualising a whole brand overhaul. I supported on a project which spanned across a whole host of different SKU’s and packaging formats, which needed to gel together cohesively and simultaneously provide simple consumer navigation on a product level in an essential part of the supermarket.
I worked on a range of design projects for Polish retailer giant Biedronka, they had their own range of premium tier products throughout their stores. Of which I designed and supported design work, including this premium Bree.
Aldi’s own mother and baby range Mamia went through a slight refresh and update to the brand, this impacted the central character illustrations that featured across most of the baby food products. It was my task to conceptualise and illustrate various fun scenes for the depicted kids, where they interacted playfully with the ingredients on pack.
Another Album Artwork track I completed for a design competition which received traction, I ended up framing this unique piece of purpose fit artwork. The project involved studio photography, editing and print realisation.
